Georg Knill

Since 2001, Styrian entrepreneur Georg Knill has been active within the IV through his involvement in Young Industry, where he served as Chairman of Young Industry Styria until 2008. In 2007, he was appointed to the IV Styria Executive Board and the IV Federal Executive Board. Georg Knill was born on January 2, 1973, is married and has two children. He began his professional career in 1993 in the 12th generation of the family-run Knill Group, for which he worked in Switzerland, Great Britain, France and Germany, among other countries. Since 2007, he has been Managing Partner of the Knill Group and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rosendahl Nextrom GmbH. Knill was a member of the IV-Steiermark Executive Committee from 2012 and served as its President from 2016-2020. Knill has been President of the Federation of Austrian Industries since 2020.
